Scientists using new NASA imaging technology have found mounting evidence that the 7.2 Mexicali quake shifted tension toward Southland faults that run close to populated areas.Equipped with new NASA technology, scientists say there is mounting evidence that the 7.2 Easter Sunday earthquake in Mexicali directed tectonic stress toward Southern California, putting the region at a higher risk for a future quake.
