Fossils of North America's smallest dinosaur identified

The creature, Fruitadens haagarorum, weighed less than 2 pounds and lived among the giants of the Jurassic period. Unearthed in Colorado, the remains are on display at the L.A. Natural History Museum. Scientists have found the fossilized remains of the smallest dinosaur yet discovered in North America, a house-pet sized creature that would have scurried between the legs of its larger relatives.
