Gregory Verdine wins prize for cancer research

Gregory Verdine has won the 2011 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Award for Outstanding Achievement in Chemistry in Cancer Research. Verdine is the Erving Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology. Verdine will receive $10,000 and will deliver a lecture at the AACR 102nd annual meeting held April 2-6, in Orlando, Fla. For more information.
