SOFIA, Bulgaria, March 10 (UPI) -- Bulgaria aims to meet 16 percent of its national energy consumption through renewable resources by 2020, the Bulgarian deputy finance minister said.

An improvement in the economy and an unusually warm summer led to a 3.2 percent rise in national energy consumption in 2010, the E.P.A. reports.
