UPDATE - Death Diving Comet Lovejoy's Final Hours

NASA's Solar and Heliospheric Observatory has captured the comet on December 15th as it nears the Sun. The icy space rock is not expected to survive the intense heat and is putting on a brilliant light show for nearby satellites in its death throws.
