Galaxy Smash-Up Seen Only In X-Rays For First Time | Video

Apparently a dwarf galaxy has slammed into a a larger spiral galaxy (NGC 1232) 60 million light years away. New data from the Chandra X-Ray Observatory has revealed a collision indication 6 million degree gas cloud, that can only be viewed in X-rays.
