Rare Lightning Sprites Caught On Camera | Video

Rare electromagnetic bursts called 'sprites' that appear above thunderstorms were filmed by Japan's NHK television at 10,000 frames per second. In April 2012, the International Space Station also captured the illusive phenomena above Southeast Asia.
