UTHealth's Carmen Dessauer Elected to Scientific Association

Carmen Dessauer, Ph.D., a cell signaling researcher at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), has been named a fellow in the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world's largest general scientific society and publisher of the journal Science. Cell signaling exams the fundamental processes involved in physiology and disease and can lead to the identification of drug targets.
