New Horizons Spots 90-Mile-Wide Kuiper Belt Object, Determines Spin | Video

The NASA probe that flew by the Pluto system in 2015 captured imagery of Kuiper Belt Object (KBO) 1994 JR1 in April 2016. By studying the light reflected from the KBO, the New Horizons' team was able to determine that it rotates once every 5.4 hours.
