You Don't Need A Vegetarian Diet, Just Adding More Reduces Heart Disease, Stroke Risk

Eating a higher proportion of vegetables compared to meat was linked to lower risks of dying from heart disease and stroke, according to research presented at the American Heart Association EPI/Lifestyle 2015 meeting. It was a weak observational study, and that is always a note of caution for scientists, but nutritionists who are promoting diet plans won't mind. The authors analyzed the eating and lifestyle habits of 451,256 Europeans.
