Vital Signs: Prevention: Lycopene Linked to Reduced Stroke Risk

Finnish researchers who tracked men for 12 years found those with the highest blood levels of lycopene - abundant in tomatoes - were 55 percent less likely to have a stroke than those with the lowest.
