Mayo Clinic Recognized for Safety and as 'Top Hospital' in Leapfrog Rankings

Mayo Clinic is being recognized this week as one of the top hospitals in the nation by the Leapfrog Group, an independent, national nonprofit organization run by employers and other large purchasers of health benefits. Only 92 U.S. hospitals were named to the 2012 Top Hospitals list from a pool of about 1,200 vying for the award.
