Triassic Tracks: Gallery of Ancient Reptiles' Footprints

Giant reptiles wading into Triassic ocean waves left their tracks on the muddy floor. Scientists have now found a spike in these swim track fossils in the early Triassic — a surprising result they attribute to the previous mass extinction.
