Volcano’s ‘Infrasound’ Sped Up For Human Ears | Video

Chile’s Villarrica volcano emits what is called infrasound in a continuous, monotonic tone at about .65 Hertz. Here, researcher Jeff Johnson of Boise State University sped up the tone 240 times to human hearing range.
