Tombs & Trash in Pompeii

Excavators have found trash in the tombs of the Roman city Pompeii, which was buried by a volcanic eruption in 79 AD. This most likely reflects the casual attitude toward garbage at the time, rather than a state of disrepair, says one archaeologist.
