Jay Yim collapsed during the run. LAPD officers and a UCLA doctor quickly responded; he was treated further at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Running a marathon is usually considered solid proof of cardiovascular fitness. Not so for Jay Yim, a runner in the recent Los Angeles Marathon.
