L.A. County settles suit over daughter of HIV skeptics for $15,000

Christine Maggiore and Robin Scovill alleged that daughter Eliza Jane's privacy was violated by release of the girl's autopsy report. Maggiore, who denied the virus' link to AIDS, died in December. Los Angeles County has reached a $15,000 legal settlement with the husband of Christine Maggiore, the late activist who rejected medical opinions that HIV causes AIDS.
