Manitoba gets spectacular northern lights thanks to crack in magnetic field

Manitobans are in for another night of spectacular aurora borealis after much of southern Manitoba saw rich displays on Monday and Tuesday. Scott Young with the Manitoba Planetarium said that’s because there’s a small crack in the earth’s magnetic field right now.
