Doctors urge hospitals to let more rural women give birth in home communities

Doctors and hospitals should be doing more to try and allow pregnant women to deliver their babies close to home, a new report says. But with specialists concentrated in urban areas, meeting the needs of pregnant women could require increased training for family doctors.
