Software alerts doctors to crisis before a 'Code Blue' is called

Patients who deteriorate in hospital have gradual changes in heart rate, blood pressure and other vital signs that can signal a crisis. One Hamilton hospital is using a computer program to flag these changes so that medical staff can intervene to save the patient before it’s too late.
