Florida says beaches safe for most swimmers, despite potentially deadly bacteria

Florida's beaches are "safe to enjoy responsibly" for most healthy people, state health officials said in a bid to clarify reports about vibrio vulnificus, a potentially deadly bacteria. Vibrio is found in Florida's coastal waters and it can cause serious complications — but for most people the risk of even being infected is minimal.
