Inquiry urges replacement of older Lifeline pendants after senior's strangulation

The accidental strangulation of a 73-year-old woman has led an Alberta judge to recommend that health authorities take immediate steps to replace older-model Lifeline emergency pendants with a newer, breakaway model.
