In photos: Migrants wait to apply for U.S. asylum at border

Migrants from Central America traveled in a caravan through Mexico to the U.S. border at Tijuana, across from San Diego, Calif. Some have been waiting in a camp there for weeks to apply for asylum in the United States. The mood at the camp has been subdued since U.S. officials fired tear gas on a group as they approached the international line on Sunday.
