Study: Steroid may heal damaged lungs in newborns

Stephen FellerCHICAGO, April 25 (UPI) -- Hydrocortisone may prevent bronchopulmonary dysplasia, or BPD, in premature newborns given oxygen treatments after birth, according to a recent study.
