Freezing nerves before knee surgery improves outcomes

Stephen FellerNEW ORLEANS, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Patients whose nerves were frozen before knee surgery had shorter hospital stays, fewer symptoms, and required fewer opioid painkillers, according to a study.
