Anti-heartburn meds increase risk of death for hospital patients

Stephen FellerANN ARBOR, Mich., Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Hospital patients prescribed PPIs are at higher risk of death due to hospital-acquired infections such as pneumonia and C. difficile, according to a new study.
