Lunar mound made by unique type of volcanism

Brooks HaysPROVIDENCE, R.I., Oct. 15 (UPI) -- A distinct type of volcanic activity -- not seen elsewhere on the moon -- is responsible for Mafic Mound, a geologic feature found on the lunar south pole.
