Plankton form jellyfish-like colony of synchronized swimmers

Brooks HaysWOODS HOLE, Mass., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- As a new study reveals whole colonies of plankton synchronize their jet movements. The result is a jellyfish-like unit, moving through the water in unison.
