Andrew V. PestanoWASHINGTON, July 30 (UPI) -- Marine Corps Gen. Joseph Dunford was confirmed by the Senate as the new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, replacing the outgoing Gen. Martin Dempsey.
