Pre-Amazonian Peru was ruled by crocodiles

Brooks HaysWASHINGTON, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Some 13 million years ago, northeastern Peru hosted seven species of crocodiles, a diverse co-existing assemblage not seen before or since.
