Mysterious 'fairy circles' not the work of termites

Brooks HaysNAMIB DESERT, Namibia, May 21 (UPI) -- Researchers have ruled out termites as the cause of the Namibian "fairy circles" -- barren patches of dirt, usually surrounded by a dense ring of vegetation.
