Uruguay gold output set to rise after new contract

MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Uruguay's gold production is set to rise in 2011 after agreements toward development of the Arenal Deeps mine, which is seen to be commercially viable in the near future after its exploitation as an open pit mine for more than five years.
