Some Earthlike Alien Planets May Begin as 'Mini-Neptunes'

Frigid "mini-Neptunes" that take shape relatively far from red dwarf stars could be dragged inward over time, eventually losing most of their thick, gaseous envelopes and ending up in spots warm enough for life as we know it to survive.
