Moon's Aristarchus Crater Snapped In Amazing Detail

The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has been capturing imagery of the crater in the tail end of 2011 and the west wall is featured. This will provide researchers with opportunities to learn more about lunar rocks and geology of the Moon.
