Adult mortality analyzed by country: Men in Iceland and women in Cyprus have lowest risk of dying

A study finds the chasm widening between countries with the highest and lowest rates of early deaths among adults. The United States has fallen significantly behind many other countries. The United States trails countries that spend less on health care, including Costa Rica, Tunisia and Albania. Among 15 to 59-year-olds, men in Iceland and women in Cyprus have the lowest risk of dying. The highest risks were found in Africa, where Swaziland men and Zambian women have the highest death rates.
