A surgeon and an electrophysiologist in the Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Centre last week worked together to perform a novel, minimally-invasive procedure to treat a common but dangerous arrhythmia in a 61-year-old lawyer from east Texas who has suffered from the condition for months.
