British scientists enlist citizens to help map Iron Age hillforts

British researchers are soliciting help from citizen scientists to gather information on some 5,000 Iron Age hillforts that dot the United Kingdom and Ireland.The aim is to make an online public database of these ubiquitous but understudied prehistoric monuments, the researchers say.
