A magnitude-5.8 earthquake rattled northern Italy Tuesday morning, nine days after a larger quake struck an area about 11 miles (18 kilometers) away. Tuesday's quake, which hit at 9 a.m. local time (3 a.m. EDT), is the largest in a series of at least seven earthquakes that have shaken the region since a deadly magnitude-6.0 earthquake hit on May 20.
