Bhabha awarded by India president

Homi Bhabha, the Anne F. Rothenberg Professor of the Humanities, has been awarded a Padma Award for literature and education, India’s highest civilian award. The awards are given in all disciplines, including visual art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, and civil service. All awards are approved by the president of India, and will be conferred by the president at a function in March or April. For more information.
