Elizabeth ShimKATHMANDU, Nepal, April 30 (UPI) -- A medical correspondent who arrived in Kathmandu to report on the destructive earthquake in Nepal performed brain surgery on a patient due to a shortage of doctors in the disaster's aftermath.
