Japanese Spacecraft Gets 2nd Chance at Venus Today

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's (JAXA) Akatsuki probe failed on its first attempt to start circling Venus on Dec. 6, 2010 when its main engine failed to fire properly. Today, exactly five years later, Akatsuki will try again.
