Globular Cluster Messier 54 Spied By Very Large Telescope | Video

The cluster is located about 90,000 light years away in the Sagittarius Dwarf Galaxy. Astronomers using Europe's Very Large Telescope (VLT) in Chile have been observing the cluster to measure levels of the element lithium in its stars.
