Limited connectivity among brown bear populations in Northern Europe

In a recent study, researchers have collected and analyzed brown bear samples from across Northern Europe. The estimation of gene flow points to a connectivity of the bears between Southern Finland and Western Russia, while migration between Scandinavia and Northern Finland appears to be limited.
