The U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation (CRDF) has announced Dr. Edwin Daniel Hirleman, professor and head of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, as the recipient of its 2008 George Brown Award for International Scientific Cooperation in recognition of his outstanding commitment to international education and cooperative research.
