Canadian farmers invest in robots to work 'smarter, not harder'

Dairy farmers Gerhard and Heather Ritzema used to be tied to routine, rising early every morning to milk their cows. But six months ago, their Seaforth, Ont., farm became the latest dairy to install robotic milkers, as well as another automated device that helps move feed towards their cattle.
