Dementia risk 90% higher in older adults with dual sensory impairment, study finds

Older adults with both hearing and visual impairment have a nearly 90 percent higher risk for developing dementia, according to a study in the journal Alzheimer's & Dementia: Diagnosis, Assessment & Disease Monitoring.
