Navy's 2nd Fleet escorts convoy across the Atlantic

The guided-missile cruiser USS Vella Gulf is guiding a three-vessel military convoy across the Atlantic as they carry military equipment to Europe, the Navy confirmed Friday. It is the first such escort since 1986.
