Record drop in U.S. cancer deaths helped by progress against lung cancer

A 29 percent drop in U.S. cancer deaths between 1991 and 2017 was driven by declines in deaths from four major cancers -- lung, colon, breast and prostate, according to the latest American Cancer Society annual report.
