New fossil pushes back Homo genus 400,000 years

Brooks HaysADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia, March 4 (UPI) -- After studying a new fossil, researchers think the genus Homo, the lineage that spawned modern man, may be 400,000 years older than previously thought.
