SpaceX Launches Super-Accurate Next-Gen GPS Satellite for US Air Force

The first advanced, next-gen "GPS III" satellite rode to space today (Dec. 22) atop a two-stage SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, which launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida at 9:21 a.m. EST (1421 GMT).
